Here are the things you need to know
To secure your order you will be asked to pay 20% of your booking total. Once we have this, your hire items are booked.
NB: Unfortunately this fee is not refundable upon cancellations (this is to cover our time and loss of business). Our unique items book quickly, please inform us of your intent to book and secure your items ASAP after receiving your initial invoice. First to make a deposit is first to secure the booking.
The balance of your booking is to be paid 14 days prior to the date you have booked the items for. Don’t worry, we will send you a reminder - we know that the last few weeks before your big day or event gets very busy!
We may take a bond of 20% of the order value (depending on the items hired. We will return this to you via a bank transfer as soon as you return your hired items in their original condition (including all packaging). Late, un-returned or damaged items and packaging will incur an additional charge or replacement/repair fee. Bonds are returned automatically to your AU bank account from which we receive payment. Refunds to credit cards or overseas bank accounts are not possible.
All hired items are to be returned within 3 days of the event. Late, unreturned or damaged items will incur an additional charge or replacement fee. Full replacement or repair costs will be charged for damage to, or loss, of any hired items or packaging. All hire items become the responsibility of the hirer, during the hire period.
Late fees will apply for stock returned outside these terms.
1 day – 10% of order
2 days – 20% of order
3 days – 30% of order
4 days – 50% of order
5+ days – 100% of order value will be re-charged.
Collect & Return
By appointment only. Please let us know when you would like to collect and your ETA on the day so we can have your items ready for you when you arrive.
Hired items (including all packaging) are to be returned within 3 days unless otherwise arranged. Unreturned boxes are charged for at $5.00 per box. This will be automatically subtracted from your bond/ and or charged to you.
Damage & Loss
Breakage or loss of stock will cause fees to apply and have individual breakage replacement prices. Credit card details are to be provided at time of event booking and will be charged if an incident does occur. If credit card details aren’t provided a minimum security fee of five hundred dollars ($500.00) is to be paid before any stock or work has begun. Alternatively a damage waiver fee may be applied to your account at time of invoicing which will cover the basic accidental damage to items. Items are to be returned after your event in its damaged state for reviewing for this waiver to hold. Any loss or damage to supplied items by misuse and vandalism will leave you liable to be charged in full at replacement value to replace missing item. (Larger security fees may apply depending each individual job and clients will be notified if a larger deposit is required).
All items must be returned empty and tidy, in original packaging as provided to the Hirer. Chalkboards do not need to be cleaned. Candles that are melted into the base of holders may require additional cleaning costs.
The 20% booking fee is not refundable upon cancellations. Balance payments are non refundable however may be transferred to other available hire items if outside of 14 days prior to your hire date.
We pride ourselves on hiring unique quality decor. As hire items are often vintage and hired regularly they will supplied in good clean 'as used' condition. All Equipment is carefully checked when packed. It is the Hirer's responsibility to check the equipment upon receipt and notify the Owner of any discrepancies and/or damages between the equipment supplied and the equipment ordered. Complaints made after the return or pickup of equipment will not be considered.
Furniture including chairs, tables arches and games must not be exposed to rain and care must be taken in high winds to ensure no damage occurs. A wet weather option must be provided on the day of your event.
All quotes are priced on easy access for our truck and crew to deliver. If your access is difficult, involves stairs, lifts, loose gravel, steep or tight driveways. We will need to be aware before your booking. If correct information is not provided delivery on the day may not be possible.
Social Media & Portfolio Material
Style Studio holds the rights to all styled work. Images taken for our portfolio may be shared on our social media outlets. We appreciate our hard work being credited if shared on social media as we do for others in the industry. We appreciate you may wish your event to be a surprise for you and your guests and we aim to be tasteful with our timing and sharing of this information and material.
